A lot of bloggers are doing the 31 day blogging challenge, and I thought I would jump on the bandwagon. Basically, the challenge is to blog every day for 31 days. I plan to just blog about our days and our moving adventure.
So today Parker was well enough to go back to preschool. He had strep throat last week and missed 2 days. He didn't want to go this morning, but was so happy once we got there. Preschool is so good for him. He is learning so much, and having a few hours away is just what he needs. I know he was bored with me and ready for some interaction with others last week while he was sick. I ran some errands/ did some birthday party returning while he was in school. It really is so nice to be able to get a few things accomplished without my little shadow. I love my boy to pieces, but sometimes it so much easier and quicker to do things alone.
Parker had his first chiropractor appointment this afternoon. I had to go for one of my weekly appointments so I had set up an appointment for Parker. He was amazed at the xrays, since he has developed a big interest in bones. He did so good and I am so proud of what a big boy he was. He had a few little adjustments made and will go back on Wednesday with me for a follow up.
After lunch we painted some mini pumpkins and Parker took a super long nap. While he napped I got busy cleaning and getting ready to pack. I'm feeling very over whelmed with moving. I know it's happening and on one hand I am excited, but on the other, I am so scared. I have never lived alone before. I went straight from my Mom's house to my Nana's house to living with TJ. Honestly, I am a nervous wreck about moving. Being alone scares me to the core, but I know it's what I have to do.
All the fumes from cleaning got to my head, so after Parker woke up from his nap, we headed out to Culvers for dinner and Walmart to exchange a few duplicate birthday gifts. My sweet boy picked out a few Ninja Turtles. He was in turtle heaven. I think it's going to be a very merry turtle Christmas around here. He also found a replacement light up rubber chicken. His original chicken was from Easter and he just loved that little thing. He was so heart broken when it got a hole and we had to throw it away. We have been on the hunt for another one for a long time. So when he spotted that chicken, we was so excited and just carried it around all night and is currently sleeping with it.
